Posted By: Buddha Jones, 12-27-2007, 11:50 AM

Hello all! I am going to make this a sticky post in hopes that I can get all of you who have submitted pictures to the Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) and have had them accepted please post a couple of them here and please link back to your gallery so we can see your work. We have so many incredible photogs on this site I am curious to see what Pentax considers your best work.

Thanks!

Thanks so much. It's funny, because I got excited when I saw that wall. Imagine getting excited about a wall? This was taken at the house of one of my husband's relatives. The color and aged look of the wall against the black rail was just too compelling to ignore. And I'm so glad I have the DA 40mm - it's the best lens I have. A good lens makes all the difference.

Thanks so much Peter - I got lucky with the sky on that one .

@ Sealonsf - I agree about the stair shot (as well as some of the other shots you've had accepted lately)... That's exactly the sort of thing that needs to be getting into ppg. Great shot!

Very nice shot. Just beautiful. And heliphoto, a lovely photo of the tree. I love photos of trees and that one is very good. Congrats.

I got a couple more today too - this is the most I've ever got in on one day. The first one I'm thrilled with because I love this photo. The other was a surprise. I realize it mostly got in because it's unusual to see so many butterflies in one place, but it wasn't an easy shot to get so I'm pleased.

I know not everyone like birds, but I'll share a recent addition into PPG. Taken with the K10D + FA* 250-600mm F5.6 ED[IF].

Golden Glow

Cropped a bit so the long side is just over 2500 pixels.

EXIF

Total count in PPG taken with this lens is now up to 8 images... Where are all the other images taken with this lens?

Regards,
Marc

Josh, great silhouette style shot! Are you doing much these days and how are you?

I haven't been able to catch up much, but definitely some great images to been seen here.

Regards,
Marc

Thanks Marc - Not doin' too much around here lately... I have had some fun days skiing, and then got a cold for a week and a half. Been shooting a bit, but not enough - that'll change soon, wildflowers are coming soon in California ...

Just saw I got three more in, so four out of five this round...

It's very rare to see mammatus clouds like these in California (shot the same day as the twisted tree shot)...
