Hello all! I am going to make this a sticky post in hopes that I can get all of you who have submitted pictures to the Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) and have had them accepted please post a couple of them here and please link back to your gallery so we can see your work. We have so many incredible photogs on this site I am curious to see what Pentax considers your best work.

I submitted 9, but withdrew one after looking at it a bit more and realized the problem, which is now fixed. I'm certainly not approaching Jimbo's total, but I don't submit very often, so I'm happy!

I just had two rejected , but neither was that special. I am not that hopeful for the five remaining, but who knows. Several of the rejects were what I considered my best work and several of the accepted were shots that I was surprised at.

I'll ditto the compliment. A lot of great photos made it in. I'm batting 0/5 since I had a few approved myself, and as far as what gets approved, it seems the stuff I'm expecting to be declined makes it, rather than the stuff I'm hopeful for. Ah well. Such is life!

The PPG is a joke, it really doesn't hold a true reflection of all genres of great photography. Its all too sickly sweet for me.

Very many more photos seem to be getting in. I have a theory that it was getting to be a bit too much for them and they've started letting just the votes from other photographers be enough to get the photo in.

I'm pretty sure that if I went back through and started re-entering my rejects, I'd get quite a few in. My photos in the past would stay around a long time and then get rejected by someone at Pentax (if I had a photo that I knew just wasn't as good as the rest would get rejected faster).

I like this photo. But I have to admit, I put it through as a color photo with a different crop before and it was rejected. At a closer crop and B&W it got through.

I can see why someone would see the PPG as a joke now, but I guess it's just how you look at it. It can be fun and it's up to the individual as to what they throw in there because it just might get in. There are still some great photos getting in. But as I vote, and I'm voting no, I often think now that I know the photo will still get in, and sure enough, it does.
