Very many more photos seem to be getting in. I have a theory that it was getting to be a bit too much for them and they've started letting just the votes from other photographers be enough to get the photo in.
I'm pretty sure that if I went back through and started re-entering my rejects, I'd get quite a few in. My photos in the past would stay around a long time and then get rejected by someone at Pentax (if I had a photo that I knew just wasn't as good as the rest would get rejected faster).
I like this photo. But I have to admit, I put it through as a color photo with a different crop before and it was rejected. At a closer crop and B&W it got through.
I can see why someone would see the PPG as a joke now, but I guess it's just how you look at it. It can be fun and it's up to the individual as to what they throw in there because it just might get in. There are still some great photos getting in. But as I vote, and I'm voting no, I often think now that I know the photo will still get in, and sure enough, it does.
