Posted By: Buddha Jones, 12-27-2007, 11:50 AM

Hello all! I am going to make this a sticky post in hopes that I can get all of you who have submitted pictures to the Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) and have had them accepted please post a couple of them here and please link back to your gallery so we can see your work. We have so many incredible photogs on this site I am curious to see what Pentax considers your best work.

Thanks!

Congrats on the recent entry Steve, I have been tempted many times by the Jupiter's bokeh to puchase that lens and there ya go and did it again.

yeatzee, I just voted on that one. Nice shot!
The Jup is definitely worth having in the bag. A bit of a pain to work with, but fun and capable of great results.

As for yeatzee's bug...someone should spray his place with pesticide. He is getting altogether too many bug shots accepted!

First time I tried using fill in flash for a scene.

Lol....It's ice fog. The flash lit up all the little ice crystals in the air....at least that's what I hope you are getting at?! I was after the hoar-frosted shoes on the line and when I used the lash to light up the shoes, it lit up all the tiny ice crystals too...purely happenstance shot!
I thought it would go in the reject bin for certain as no one would know what it was.

It is high ART, can't you tell?! I have noticed that PPG seems to be lightening up a little and passing a few images that are more artsy.

BTW...I really like that shoe shot...like I said, high art.

I really like the train depot (?) picture.

I got my seventh in, and it's also the first I've gotten accepted that was taken with my new (to me) K20d. I haven't submitted anything in about four weeks now... need more time in the day/week/month/year.

I submitted 10 racing photos just over two weeks ago, and just got one accepted and 3 rejected. It seems like people like motorcycle shots more than cars

Here's the one that got accepted:

The bike # is a little bit soft, but personally my eyes always end up getting drawn towards the torso and helmet/face that just seem really 'rich' looking (color-wise)
