Posted By: Buddha Jones, 12-27-2007, 11:50 AM

Hello all! I am going to make this a sticky post in hopes that I can get all of you who have submitted pictures to the Pentax Photo Gallery (PPG) and have had them accepted please post a couple of them here and please link back to your gallery so we can see your work. We have so many incredible photogs on this site I am curious to see what Pentax considers your best work.

Thanks!

Great shot Rense. Thats from one of your manual lenses isn't it? I really like the misty background and color of the geese.
We have gazillions of Canadian Geese in the area and I have yet to have any good shots of them. I would love to get some in-flight couples and group shot.

This is todays entry. It being winter time I get a chance to go through a few of my older photos.

Thanks Oren! Yes, it's done with the Meyer Optik "Orestegor" 200/4.

I like your shot a lot, great depth, great history pic!

I've posted two rock shots and both have made it. Have to try more.

This is the second one. Band is "The Place to Bury Strangers" from NYC. They're often described as the loudest rockband there is.

OrenMC, that's a wicked shot. It looks like very natural HDR. Well done.

Rense - I love that shot, the trees give you that great sense of depth and just a real feel like you are there.

OrenMc - I agree with Rense, great historical looking shot, everything is so crisp, great timing with those clouds.

Good work, the fine detail of the hair, the light beams, it all works. Do their amps go to 11?

Here's my third photo submitted, first accepted:

More like 111! The frontman Oliver Ackermann is the owner of effects and music factory called "Death by Audio", so they pretty much use custom stuff on the stage...

Anyway, thanks for the compliments and congrats for the first approval.

Thank you sealisthenewbeaver, its not HDR, but maybe a little too much shaperning

I like your shot also BTW, the color and the drama the photo depicts.

That is stunning! Never thought I'd say that about a picture with sheep. Well done!

Thanks Tom. I do try shooting some wildlife (mainly birds) but they are less tolerant of me than livestock.
