The Possum

We have a few of these little guys that hang around. We see them most nights but on full moons they come out to party.
Last night it sounded like they were dragging a dead body across our corrugated roof at 2 am.

This one is a Brushtail Possum and has just kicked out her second kid she raised, they are very partial to the seed in our bird feeder and clean out the feeder before morning.

Being from Florida (26 years ago) I can tell you there's no comparison on the cute scale.

The remains of some bird seed husk, Unlike Texas the birds are generally bigger hear so we use bigger seed.

Cheers Ed

Technically the US only has Opossums which are a bit different, the Possums posted above are actual possums, which are native to Australia.

The one that got under my house last night and made all that racket had better not do it again or he won't be a Possum or an Opossum...he will just be dead meat.
Regards!
