Thanks, Adam! I actually recropped the hawk picture to try to emphasize the bird more. I don't think it lost too much IQ. What do you think?

I far prefer the cropped version of the hawk.For me there has been little or no loss of image quality but a huge gain in impact. You now have a picture of a hawk in a tree and not one of a tree with a hawk in it. All I would do is give the eye a bit of of a boost in level and you have a winner.

How would I go about giving just the eye a boost in level using Lightroom? I'd assume using some sort of a custom brush?
