I know its a completely pointless shot, but worn boots are always so evocative to me.

I underexposed by 1.7 stops to make the boots look black. I did crop it square and sharpen it a bit. At f8, this required a 2 second exposure, so I used a tripod (with my new ball head) and the IR remote with mirror lockup.
