Lovely shots, really enjoyed them.

I thought this would be a thread about "Patty, The Daytime Hooker" from "My Name is Earl". I was hoping to see her 'one good boob'! Imagine my disappointment when it is a frosty shot of 'hoar frost' in Alberta

(Those not familiar with the show are going "Huh??")

Nice shots!

I suppose if Santa can go on screaming Ho Ho Ho from chimney tops then you can post images of Hoar.

I had to look up the definition of Hoar. It's quite interesting - it isn't ice.

Thanks for posting these Dave, opens my eyes to something else during our winter.

The one good thing about Fog...

Daacon....

Whore Frost (WF) is indeed the one good thing about Fog.. You can always tell how long and how cold the fog has been by the amount of WF on the trees and bushes.

It is funny that it is called that, but the origins of the nick name make sense..

But... you have some good pics.... My dad's place gets fogged in a lot in jan and feb.. so I am anxiousely awaiting it and hoping to be there when it breaks and the sun shines all over the frosty flocked trees!!!!

Thanks for sharin.. Happy New year!! Kim

Thanks JC interesting you don't get any down in Windsor area ? It is pretty rare here but comes around every 4 or 5 years maybe.

Kim, may I use that phrase in The Great American Novel that I will never write? :-)

Great pictures Daacon!

"As I walked amongst the frosty flocked trees
What did I see but
hoardes of frosty flocked bushes"
<crumples up paper and throws into overflowing trash can.......>

The pattern are the theme of these shots and they are very nicely done.
