As many of you know, the weather in Western Washington this week has been ridiculous. Snow, hail, sleet, freezing rain…you name it, we got it in buckets. While most people are trying to stay off the roads, I’m looking for places to visit for unique photo opportunities. One of my absolute favorite venues for snow photography in Seattle is Kubota Garden. Here's a shot I thought turned out well. I hope you enjoy it!

Thanks, Arnie! It was an adventure getting there, but the look of the red bridges totally made it worth my while.

It is not often a bridge on a track such as this is a thing of beauty. Well seen and captured

Nice, we don't get too many opportunities to take these types of shots in Sydney.

Nice image.

Sadly, we get way to many opportunities for shots like these in S. Ontario.

Thank you, Bert! I had to maneuver a bit to get to a spot for this comp. I'm glad you like it.

Thank you, Bruce! I totally agree...in any other season, I don't find these bridges as interesting. The snow just seems to make them special.

Thanks, Bruce! We don't get so many opportunities either, so I had to act quickly when a big snow storm hits.

Great capture, the snow really set this image off! Stay warm over there. It was 60 degrees here today and will be 55 tomorrow. I'm heading up for some high country camping this weekend. We need that snow here.

Beautiful photo & great composition! I live in Everett and have now marked this place as a location to visit. Tomorrow I will drive right by it on a trip to JBLM for a medical appointment. One day soon I will have to make it there! Thank you for the inspiration!
