I usually don't take pictures other than lanscapes, but occasionally I find something that catches my eye. Since the beautiful Redfish Lake in the Sawtooth range was fogged over, I had to find other things to photograph.

Very nice shot Dan.I'm thinking of getting that 12-24 lens.From what I've heard and seen it seems to be a very good hunk of glass.

The lines that draw you down to the end of the pier are fantastic.Also the mood and atmosphere of the fog,combined makes this pic something that you could enlarge on canvas and hang it on the wall proudly.

Great shot. Redfish lake is such an amazing place. The Sawtooth mountain surrounding the lake also make for some spectacular shots.

Thank you. I am encouraged by your positive responses to attempt more of these kind of photos. Sometimes I'll take photos I'm not sure about, but then they turn out having the best reviews. That is why I love to take pictures and share them.

Very nice, clean image. I think I would even take it a step further and really drive home the symmetry by cloning out the murky line of trees and whatever that is floating in the water near the right edge behind the dock.
