The zoo 12 29 07
Posted By: jgredline, 12-29-2007, 10:04 PM

Hi Folks
I took my monkeys to the zoo today and took a few hundred pics. Here is a sample of some. All were taken with my K100D super and my DA*50-135 lens...It was a cloudy gloomy day....I was really pleasantly surprised at how fast this lens focuses and the pictures coming from it are amazing to me....My personal favorite is of the Lion...I shot it between peoples heads, but like the way the picture came out...The zebra set I thought was also cool....Comments welcome..

I have to say the one I clicked on is cool. If you want comments you have to cut down on the number of shots and the size. With 30 or 40 shots in one post you will not likely get many comments. I would cut down to a couple 2-5 of your favorites and post at a larger size and you will get more feed back.

Posting like this

Makes it easier for folks to look and see without having to go out to another site.
Again many fun shots and looks like you are having fun with the camera.

Good luck.

Nice shots, but I have to agree with Pat B. It's easier if you have less shots. The ones I clicked on are remarkably sharp and all between 50 and 135. Were you using the new DA 50-135? What ever lens you were using it was a good one and used with excellent technique.

I love the zebra series. Not often do I get to see them do more than just stand there. And yes, the lion image is cool too. Looks like you had a fun time at the zoo.
