perfect time of the year to visit, great shot, reminds me of the ruins of Rhyolite, NV., another interesting area to visit.

Nice composition. I think I've been there. I'd clone out the white stripe near the corner of the walls, though :-)

Outstanding! I can't believe I didn't notice this terrific B&W before. The timing, composition and B&W are wonderful.

Pickles, this is the Ashford Mills Ruins, a gold processing mill that was built in 1914 for the purpose of smelting gold from a mine five miles east of the mills location. The mill is located at the southern end of Death Valley.
