Came across a berry tree with a bunch of Cedar Waxwings in it today - very overcast (before rain) so pulled out the off camera flash to add a little light...

Very nice photos, impressive! Cedar waxwings are very colorful birds. Here in Austin, Teaxas, we tend to see a lot of Cedar Waxwings coming through during their Spring Migration north, but sometimes we see them in the winter too. I look forward to their return. Where were these photos taken?

Oh my these are beautiful photos! Once in my life I had a flock of Cedar Waxwings stop for a rest on their migratory route. I felt so lucky. Gorgeous birds and your photos are truly exceptional... the low light did not seem to affect the images at all.
