Thanks Tom I should have kept it,, however upgrade means something has to go, hind sight me would never went from k10 to k20, still have k20 and now k7 me thinks k20 out does k7 with photo quality an k10 shoots them both down. Opinions dont count here, just my feelings ( I wont say observations, as that will open up a very big can of worms) I havent changed the way I shoot, maybe the newer versions has Hmmmmm don't know, something has changed.

Cheers

Shane,

I kept my K10 when I moved up to the K5. It has a KatzEye focusing screen and I still use it for a lot of manual focus work. It still makes great images and I probably would have got much for it had I tried to sell it anyway. The K5 is great and better than the K10 in almost every way but there still someting about the K10.

I nearly sold mine a year or so ago and am so glad I didn't. Maybe once I get a K-5 I'll revisit it but for now I still frequently find myself coming back with shoots and gravitating toward the K10's photos (vs. the K-7's).

I agree there is something about the K10. My K20 has the same feel. I have been comparing photos for 2 days now and I am thinking the K10 does it better although it could be me splitting hairs. The K20 feels more comfy in my hands then my K7. One thing I did keep from the k10 is the pentax grip. Still on the fence about K5 too many rumors.

Cheers

Thanks Alan, I seem to be doing same thing with K20. My k7 seems to only come out when I need speed.

Cheers
