Fading winter light in the magical wee woods
Lens: Pentax SMC A 1.7... DA 35mm macro Camera: k5 Photo Location: Derry, Northern ireland

A wee walk in the woods today just as the sun begins to set. Gransha woods is tiny and is in the grounds of a mental hospital but tis a really beautiful place which i visit often with my wee doggie.

Thanks very much Dave! Yeah tis indeed and is literally round the corner from the woods. Sometimes patients go walking there accompanied by a nurse and what i find amazing is that my normally nervous wee dog really warms very easily to a lot of them... much more than people elsewhere i take her to where she pays no interest to folk.

Interesting and well photographed here Garbhan, some of these are on the "spooky" side and I think this would make a great location for a murder or horror movie. Great conversions here, thanks for the view and be careful walking alone in the dark there.

Thanks very much Bob good sir. I suppose right enough that there is a bit of a spookiness about the images. Tis quite a magical wee spot but indeed nit somewhere for after dark! Best regards, Garbhán.
