Damn near drowned......

Looks like the European Wasp. They have been a pest on this side of the continent with a very painful sting.

So, that is how you get them to stay so still, you drown them first! Nice clear shot EM.

This is the common Paper Wasp but they look very similar to the European Wasp.

What, no Lifeguard training then Dave? I did stop at giving mouth to mouth resuscitation though!

I'll have you know I was a Lifegaurd as a kid and I still would have let hime drown the stinging bugger ha! Good call on the mouth to mouth
