Good shots in what looks like poor weather. Especially #3. Most people including me would have given up wating for a break in the clouds. This really emphasises the height of the mountains

Thanks for looking and commenting Bruce. The weather was raining almost the whole time we were there but it just made us appreciate a nice day when we got one.

Susan, I think McKinley is a bit bashful much like Rainier in Washington. They only show a little at a time and their beauty makes you want for more. Beautiful photos of the area.

Jer, the first and third ones are "braided" rivers. The river beds are huge but never fill with water; instead, the water just braids its way through changing course quite often.
Bob, we are members of the 30% club as 70% never see the mountain. This view was taken from Wonder Lake and we were lucky enough to see it again on our way to Anchorage.
