I was going through my summer shots and came across some DA 18-135 images. I posted them in the 18-135 thread, but I'm guessing a lot of you don't follow that thread, so I'm putting them over here as well. If I'm going to do all that work, I'm going to make sure everyone gets a look-see.

Ya I know how you feel... I can't possibly keep up with every thread... even ones I might be interested in. Show your bokeh, rust, thematic wildlife...there's only so much time in a day. Thanks for your input.

Probably one of the least stated axioms of colour photography on this website.... it's all about the colours. You can sell a photo with no contrast and no sharpness, but if hte colours are right, people don't even look at those things. Thanks for commenting.

Love the compostion in #4 Norm. (And the colors, of course!)
That's a wall-hanger for sure.

I had to do a double-take on #5. At first glance I didn't realize it was cloud REFLECTIONS behind the dog - and I thought he was standing way up on the edge of a cliff!

#'s 6 & 7 look like a pair for Tess' old "Photographer and the shot" thread from a while back.

My picture is probably the same as the photographer and image.... but she posted one of hers to go with it, she was using the DA10-17 and has a much wider field of view.. I was using the 18-135 at 18, but we were standing at the same place, with the same sunset, so I can understand why you think that. Mine was the K20D and DA 18-135, hers were taken with the DA 10-17 and the K-x. That's how we tell them apart.

Norm these are outstanding, I had to go back look to see if these were taken with a K5 but surprise a K20.. Colors are so vivid and clear, I like them all. Now I need to take my 18-135 out and treat it to some sunlight. TFS....Cliff

She's actually got her K-x in front of her there taking a picture, but she probably knew, I'm always taking her picture whether she wants me to or not. SHe sits over my shoulder when I load them from the camera and tells me which ones must be immediately deleted because they don't meet her artistic standards.

You can see a bit of the K-x strap here.
