Kenai Fjord
Posted By: slowpez, 02-10-2012, 08:07 AM

Decided to go ahead and finish off the Kenai Fjord today. Truly a wonderful adventure and I would advise anyone who goes to take a smaller boat. You see a lot more and it is much more personal than the larger ones that leave from Seward.

These continue to be handheld and the time of day was not of our choosing but you take what you can.

Curious Sea Otters

Glacier Blue

Another reason to avoid the larger boats, the whales seem to like them better. This was one huge male Orca.

It's off to Valdez which really got slammed with snow this winter. See you tomorrow.

Beautiful... Love the whale shots, both the gray's tail and the Orca's dorsal fin!

Beautiful photography, I am always amazed at the color of the glaciers. Those little otters are sure cute and seeing the Orca in person would be a sight not forgotten.

Thanks Bob and Norm. We would have adopted you Norm but I'm just not sure that you are potty trained yet.
