Winter Sky

We've not had winter this year - even by our wimpy standards. But today there was an edge to the wind and the sky (temp reached about 54 F or 12C). Here are some B&W conversions of what interested me today.

Love those.....don't often get those around here. Very glad you got some great shots of them, they usually go pretty fast. Colder than a witches hiney here today, around 38F ...but back around 70 on Monday! Gotta love it in February!
Regards!

Thanks much for the kind words - and, as I'm sure you realized, the cheesiness of the title was intentional.

It's been that, indeed. The short cold spell were enduring () now will end tomorrow - with 70s to return for next week.

Hey, thanks Bob. I'm still learning Aperture, but I have a better idea now which levers to pull.

Golly Jer, these are fantastic. The sky especially in the first one is not to be believed. The conversion is really good also.

Jer, especially the second one! Beautiful and it really 'sucks you in' because of the direction of the clouds.
