the Roadrunner in Action

If you have ever seen the cartoon, I think you will appreciate this series. The last shot you can almost see his feet start to blur. Sorry about the OOF, this was a quick point and shoot and happy to get what I did.

He must be trying to catch a 427 Stingray like the one owned by a distinguished member of the forum . This bird ain't got a chance.

Got any shots of Wily Coyote? We have seen a few of these birds but find them almost impossible to capture. You did well.

You know Jer, the Road Runner did come out with an optional 426 cid street hemi that was quite a performer on the drag strip, but couldn't ever keep up with the Vette on the curves. Man those were the days buddy.

Susan, that is a rare sight anymore here in the desert, it used to be seeing a coyote was common place, I think they have been driven out of a lot of the areas, or maybe the road runner had something to do with it.

Charlie, I was happy to get the shots, I had a 80-320mm tele on the K-5, a little cumbersome, and he ran across our campsite and ran across the street. It was a draw and shoot, shot.
