Gornergrat with 645D
Posted By: tcom, 02-13-2012, 12:28 PM

Hi

Yesterday, despite temperatures well in the freezing region, I decided to go for some snowy mountain landscape photos and went on top of the Gornergrat above Zermatt in Switzerland.

Well, it was really cold, -22°C, but thankfully nearly no wind.

Completely gorgeous. It puts me there. Good compositions and good exposures. As far as taking tourist photos with their Point & Shoots, just smile and nod and push the button.

Thank you all for the comments, it was a marvelous day, and I hope it shows on the photos.

Jessesdad: this is the wrong place for James Bond, that was the Schilthorn.

Everything just right - exposure, composition, choice of subjects, perspective... Very difficult to choose a favorite, but #6 may be it...

Beautiful photos! I really like them all, but nr 6 and 7 are my favourites, and nr 1, and nr 2... What is the name of the largest mountain? And, yes, after seeing these photos, a 645D is at the top of my wish list...

There are no limits on where James can go. Nor on your photographic skill it seems.
From Australia these sort of scenes are unfamiliar but wonderful.
