thanks CC, the rose had a very soft look to it, but the photos never turn out like nature presents the flower.

Beautiful shot - love the color, the delicacy, the slight asymmetry, and the contrast with the background - all in all, a beautiful shot.

thank you for the kind words. Reflecting upon what you wrote, I think these are 4 points for all of us to use in photographing flowers, something I will certainly remember. thanks Bob
