Got this lens for $10.00. Not great but good, especially for the $. Oops, should have used a lens hood and backed off some on the Polarizer.

Den, it looks like the new lens has pretty good clarity from what I can see. Of course the K-5 makes a lot of my photos look better than I photographed them, so it looks like you got a great deal I would say. Keep shooting and share another with us when you get a chance.
