I have indeed printed them, and they work well on matte paper with the toning above. Now I need a bigger printer to do them justice

Beautiful beautiful shots! I just shot at an old cemetery the other day for the pretty much the first time but my results were not on par with these. I love the last one in particular with those dramatic shadows. Fantastic stuff!

The strange thing about the first image is that it looks completely different when seen as a small image or a thumbnail - it brings to mind some kind of zombie scarecrow.

Seen large it has a completely different creepiness. The tree in the background has the same shape as the statue, that echoing of form seems to make it stronger. Today I revisited the subject with a view to trying to improve it, and I couldn't even get close to the original shot. That's often the way, so I'll leave it as it is...
