Jasper, British Columbia
Posted By: slowpez, 02-15-2012, 08:30 AM

This was our favorite place on the way through Canada although it was really, really hard to chose.
Just some pictures of the area.

Found this guy outside our RV. He stayed there until he became a little randy and the rangers chased him off

Jasper is, indeed, a gorgeous place and you've done a nice job here with the photos.

One little correction, if I may? It's actually Jasper, Alberta - the province on the east side of the continental divide, and the one I happen to live in.

Excellent Susan and yeah what Mark siad - it's in Alberta , can't give Jimbo all the scenic places (He lives in BC) - been there many times and will go back many more - love your shots.

Ya, I love Jasper, but climbing up the ice-line trail in Yoho (the British Columbia side of Banf) and camping gets me to my favourite place. Great pictures.

Susan, these are all such beautiful photos, I bet the Chamber of Commerce would use them in their brochure. Great job here.

Ok, so its in Alberta. I am sure a couple of drunk surveyors felll on the wrong side of the mountain and it just slipped into Alberta. It is not enough that they have the oil now but half of the Rockies!

Beautiful images Susan. This is also a great place to shoot in the Winter. I will be trying it next Feb. Cheers JIM

I am lashing myself with 1000 wet noodles for the mistake. Don't you Canadians realize that all your provinces look alike (big smiley here.) Norm, we went to the Yoho also. Beautiful place with a really nice unpronounceable waterfall which I will post later.
Thanks everyone for the kind comments. Hope you all noticed the lovely weather we finally managed to get.
