Frogs Mating

Caught these two at it in my back-garden. In the middle of the day. In front of the kids, and without the decency to cover up

Thanks for the feedback.

What was more surprising is that I don't have a pond so they have come a reasonable way to get there.

Great captures.
I believe most frog species mate in water, so this could be quite unusual.

He has gripped her in slightly the wrong place, hence her "help me, I'm in pain/this is uncomfortable " posture. They must be on their way to a pond & cutting through your garden! He has found her & tried to hop on to "hitch a ride" but mistakenly forced her into that position! Grim thing is, if that were in the water, she'd probably drown before laying her eggs!
