New to the camera, cloudy evening no sky, how about the composition, need cropping?

The comp looks ok to me John.What would make the pictute pop would be if you had a nice blue sky with a lonely cloud or two in it and the water reflecting the sky.--charliezap

Since you don't have much of a sky, have you tried cropping out most of it and seeing what that looks like?

tried your suggestion, did not improve picture in my opinion, I had cropped out some branches that were in the original shot, cropping further chopped the tops off the pines
in the distance. I agree with charliezapp the sun would have helped boost this picture.
