Top half of Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park
Posted By: slowpez, 02-19-2012, 08:13 AM

Another jewel in Canada's crown. The camping facilities are a thousand times better than those in Glacier. Canadians sometimes get things right
We had a great time here and will most likely go back someday. We had made day trips to the area before but this was the first time we actually spent a lot of time in the area. Hope you enjoy.

The Prince Edward Hotel

This waterfall was located in the campground

Haven't seen this much blue water since Crater Lake

And finally, the view from behind the Prince Edward

Very nice Susan - sadly this is one 'local' area (about a 6 hour drive or so) I have never been to , but will some day. Beautiful shots all.

Each of these shots are perfectly composed with perfect lighting for each scene in my opinion - thanks for sharing the beauty!

Another beautiful area that I could spend weeks at. You must be getting close to the border now and love the reflection photo.

Thanks to all of you. You made my day with your kind comments. For those of you who want to go to this area my advice is GO. Life is too short to waste time and I want to see photographs made by those who can run rings around my attempts.

Very nice images Susan but where are the bison pictures? The fourth picture was taken from the bison paddock. We do spend a lot of time camping (if that is what one can call it) in the Waterton area. Did you take the boat ride to Goat Haunt, Montana? Thanks for posting these pictures

Thanks captainbert, Tom and Heinrich. Yep Heinrich, that was the bison paddock but they were so far from us that even the 55-300 wouldn't pull them in close enough to enjoy.
