Bottom half of Waterton-Glacier International Peace Park
Posted By: slowpez, 02-20-2012, 08:14 AM

This was not the best of times to visit Glacier NP. The Going to the Sun Road was torn up due to construction; most of the water in the waterfalls had dried up while waiting for snow fall but luckily we had been here twice before and it remains on our top 10 list of favorite national parks (there are currently 18 parks on our top ten list.)

This one came out kind of funky because I was shielding the lens with my cap and light leaked in through the metal grommets in the top of it. I kind of like it though.

These are wonderful Susan... i love the calmness and tranquility of these shots and in particular number two... it just seems like a majestic spot away from noisy and frantic civilization. They are beautifully captured my friend.. love them! Garbhán,

Love the color in the last one and the moon shot is too cool. Last time we were up there Susan, Sun Road was closed due to an avalanche, time before that it was so foggy we couldn't see anything. So we will try again in August. Thanks for sharing the beauty with us.
