Snow + Light + ISO 51200 = Success?
Lens: Tamron 90mm f/2.8 Di Macro Camera: Pentax K-5 Photo Location: Richmond, VA ISO: 51200 Shutter Speed: 1/1000s Aperture: F2.8

So, we had a pretty decent snowstorm last night, and I was out shooting in it (as always) when I decided to crank the K-5 up to ISO 51200 and try shooting at fast shutter speeds to see what sort of results I'd get (perhaps something combining the excess noise of such a high ISO with frozen-in-motion snowflakes). I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the RAW and saw this. The only thing I changed was the color, and the snowflakes are (of course) not in focus, but I think this works pretty well as an abstract image.

That is quite interesting. I think it works!

Interesting. The noise adds to the abstractness of the whole theme.
