Too late?
Posted By: Tom Lusk, 01-04-2008, 09:04 AM

Is it too late to change my wildlife photo entry?

I called this fellow up to within 5 feet of my blind this morning. What a beauty!

This is full frame. Some of the shots were actually too close for focussing with my 300.

That is a beautiful shot of this fox Tom. But I must say that your current wild life submission has my vote. What a great shot that is! An action shot like you captured for the contest in such clarity is impressive.

WOW does not say enough. It is to late to change your entry now becuase we all know it is you. If it makes you feel any better I would vote all three times for this. Very cool.

Wow!

Thats a really beautifull shot, and the dried stalks behind it really complement it's fur colour.

It's never too late Tom! Great shot and I envy your ability to sit in one place for such a long time. I'd be squirming too much for that and eventually the only wildlife would be models walking infront of my blind LMAO!

That's a beauty tom and what a handsome fox he is too! Many I see around where I live are pretty mangy looking.

Hope you don't mind if I send this to my father in-law, he really digs foxes!

Beautiful photo of a beautiful animal - that's quite a brush he's sporting. Good exposure and colours. Interesting backdrop too.

Tom,

As a part-time South-Eastern-Ontarian and a wildlife photographer, you have my utmost respect. If I were up here more often (in Kingston for the holidays) I'd as for some lessons, or rent some blind time!!

Could I trouble you for a crop? Not for pixel peeping, I'd just like to see a closeup of the little guy's expression...

A truely stunning capture Tom, I think that and the mink you posted last month have to be the best two wildlife photos I've seen here. Since I don't know what your entry is in this months' contest, I will say that it would be hard to beat either the fox or the mink.
