Snow in Virginia ... finally!
Lens: DA 15 Limited Camera: Pentax K-r Photo Location: Virginia ISO: 100
Posted By: loco, 02-21-2012, 07:04 PM

We finally got a little bit of snow in central Virginia Sunday evening. It was the perfect kind of snow, as far as I'm concerned. Just enough to cover the ground during a holiday weekend. Bright and sunny the following morning and it all had melted by the end of the day!

I took my DA 15 out and got a few pics. Hope you find some you like and I really appreciate you taking the time to look!

first two cross-posted from DA 15 thread...

These are wonderful, Lori - each and every one. I have a DA 15 which I enjoy, but I have to say it has never produced anything this good in my hands. Great job.

Nice! Some real "crisp" shots you got there, can almost feel the cold.

Those are awesome photos Lori, you really made good use of the light. Great b/w conversions also and that poor dogwood is frozen, you should bring it in at night. TFS, Bob

wow! This is why I love winter... gorgeous images Lori!! The DA 15 is a lens I covet. I have the 21 which I do love, but would also like the wider angle.

Wonderful winter wonderland shots

Pretty snow pictures

To me it looks like spring, approx. the same "feeling" to it as a good Norwegian April day

Love the results of that 15mm... Hm... I wonder if that should be my next...

Wow, well it is rare for us to get snow in April! But Norway is a beautiful part of the world, at least according to your photos!! Thanks for your kind words!
