Winter storm coming!
Lens: DA 17-70mm f/4 SDM Camera: Pentax K20d Photo Location: Andøy,Norway ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/200s Aperture: F9.5

Captured a shot when the blizzard came to shore from the great sea out west.

I saw this spectacular weather change when driving along the road from one town to another on the island of Andøy, Norway.
It happens so fast here, the weather is very unstable this time of the year.

Thanks For the recrods, I actually did use a graduated filter, but in post-processing of the image in Lightroom3...
This made the clouds more contrasty, I adjusted the parametres to highlight in those clouds. Added a screendump of my workflow to show you.

Nice job on the pp - enhanced the photo without overdoing it. I always enjoy weather shots like these.

Wow - what a spectacular shot. If every a photo captured the idea of "ominous", this is the one. Super job.

I always try to be moderate when it comes to pp, in this case I actually think I exaggerated a bit. But thanks, Paul

That is an incredible sky. Nice capture plus post colour/contrast work.

What if you cropped it like this? Then the story is all about the sky and it becomes even larger... that black ribbon of land is like a knife. It's like good verses evil! Ok, I'll shut up.

Nice capture. I am glad I am not in the middle of that storm. It looks pretty nasty.

Oh, that`s a lot of comments!

Thank you so much guys, I really, really appreciate it!
The cropping was ok, Mr_Canuck, only I feel it`s a liiiiittle too thin a knife. I would like to see more foreground. But hey, that`s just me, maybe
