Are they all that rotund? Or did they have their feathers ruffled a bit? Very nice pictures.

Yeah, really impressive photos.
When I was back in England for Christmas, I noticed a lot more varieties visiting the garden.
Had one pied wagtail and a robin, amongst the sparrows and an increase in numbers from blackbirds and blue tits.
But, more excitingly, had a pair of greenfinch and goldfinch, along with great tits, coal tits and wrens...even a dunnock.
I took some pics, but not even half as good as the ones posted in this thread. Superb.
