I prefer the 1/60" exposure. FWIW.

Personally I like number 3. Richer colors and very nice DOF. I also like the crop better.

I like the third one, too. THing is that the DOF in second and especially in the first are so narrow that it's hard to know what's back there. Could be just an ugly green tablecloth in the first pic. In the third, the couple of green leaves that are within the DOF show what we're looking at; the rest (and majority) of the leaves are then backgrounded.

But I'm pretty much of a novice at judging.

I'd agree with all the other comments. Third is the best for the reasons above. On my monitor the shots look over exposed and undersaturated to various levels. I've used several M42 and K mount lenses on the K110 and K10D's. I've found each lens will behave a little differently and need to be "learned" to understand how they react to the metering. If what i'm seeing is accurate, keep bracketing and see what the meter says each time. After awhile you'll be able to adjust the lens without a second thought.

Hi Peter, I prefer the 3rd shot (1/60th) seems to be a bit richer in colour, a bit more depth in the colour. Which is to my taste, anyway.

I prefer the 1/60 as well. Richer colors, more contrast range.
