We went to east TN for New Years, and hiked up to see rainbow falls. Got some decent shots, but this one was interesting. I liked the combination of sun and shadow. 2.7 miles really tires an out-of-shape guy out! Rainbow Falls Trail, outside of Gatlinburg. This is not the main falls, just one from the trail.

almost a sepia tone, contrasting well with the white stream - I like it.

Very nice, reminds me of some of the streams where I went brook trout fishing I did as I a kid. I like the contrast of foliage on the tight hand side of the pic while the left side appears barren.
