Well, we have traveled around the city so now it is time to hop on the ferry and see the sights.

Looks like the fog was really cooperative! Great shots!

The fog never left the place while we were there. Would have loved to have gotten a decent shot of the bridge but it just wasn't going to happen.

The fog photos are really something special, Susan! Another awesome series from you. The Alcatraz shot is magnificent.

Those neat shots Susan somehow gives me the urge to have something with "Rice a Roni" in it.--charliezap

There are a million shots of the bridge without fog, but this is something special. Sorry you didn't get to see it in its full glory though. It would have been nice to have it both ways.

Terrific images of 'Baghdad by the Bay'. A little known site there is the Musee Mechanique in the basement of the Cliff House restaurant. It's a museum of mechanical toys and arcade machinery. The Cliff House is on the beach and has some pretty good food (pricey). Be very careful taking pictures from the rocks there. It's not unusual for people to get washed off the rocks by the waves. Here are some of my images.

The Golden Gate from the air.

The Bay Bridge after the 1989 earthquake.

So northern hemisphere-centric, no wonder our south American and Aussie neighbors hate us so much
