Just thought I would post a few pictures to warm everyone up and chase away the winter whites.

The shot of the Haleakala Crater makes me want to just jump into that image and walk down the slope of the "extinct" (officially active though) volcano and cross the stark terrain to the other side of the rim.

Wow, Maui never looked so good but in your photos. My favourite is the driftwood.

Except no winter problems down here with three days this week in the high 30s and a couple last week in the low 40s -- even the asphalt on the roads melts at that temperature in direct sun, the tyres sound like you're driving on a wet road.

Nice series. The crater, sunset and waterfall are my favorites. It is just like the view from my window (except for the crater m sunset, waterfall and oh yeah no ocean either). A nice winter break I hope looks like a gorgeous place.

Beautiful pictures. When I look out the window here and see 4 feet of snow, I can imagine swimming in that warm water under the waterfall. Great shot. My favourite is the volcanic crater, really well taken. Thanks for the warm up!

Well, Spyglass, all I can say is that I'm sorry that Maui is such an inhospitable place! Some really nice shots and thanks for the warm up!

All beautiful shots but I especially like the perspective of 2 and the rich warm colours of the sky in 6.
