OK, now we will see some of the bay itself

I spent all day trying to get this shot. Darn close to getting it.

The sunset with the fingernail moon is lovely. Great color. And the first shot with the fog is very nice has great atmosphere....i can almost feel and smell the ocean.

Very nice series to view, it is so relaxing to be by the ocean. #4 and 6 are my favorites, love the reflection and mood. We enjoy the Morro area also, lots of great places to eat at also, $$$.

I love the photos (including your other Morro Bay threads). I used to live in the area when going to school at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. I never got tired of taking photos there, especially around Morro Bay and Montana de Oro. It's a photographers dream. Having seen the rock a ton myself, I actually love your first two photos of the boats especially the fog on the first one. As a former resident, that first image is often what a photo of the "rock" looked like as the day ended. Sunset and dusk time shots such as those you posted are difficult to come by.

You give me an urge to go back for a visit.

Thank you emalvick. We did have our share of fog while we were there and I was just beginning to like the fog when it seemed to clear up. Go figure.
