One of my first portraits, especially an on purpose one.

This one is of my future wife:

I took this one with my K110D and my trusty new Pentax M 50mm f/2.0.

G'day Eric,
Thanks for showing off your future wife!
The B&W effect works well, and your focusing is impeccable. Well done.
I'd like to see the subject perhaps a little off centre (with the head a little higher in the frame) when shooting landscape portraits, with a less busy background, or open the aperture a little more.
Then try a few different poses...
But there are several more experienced portrait photographers who'll give you more useful feedback.

Thanks for the tips!

Like I said I haven't really shot portraits at all, so any advice is good.

Hopefully she'll continue to model for me!
