"Spring Beauty" is the common name for
Claytonia Virginica, a beautiful little flower that appears in moist woods in early spring. I've done many standard, available-light shots of these; lately I've been playing with off-camera flash, and here I've added focus stacking. Handheld stack as I don't yet have a macro rail. As I recall this was done at 1:1.1 magnification. f/6.7, eleven images.
This is a blend of two different types of output from ZereneStacker. PhotoAcute was less successful with this one.
Another stack, a fungus I haven't identified. f/4.5, eight images (natural light). PhotoAcute was acceptable here, but the ZereneStacker output was again better. I've bought a license.
