Otis says......
Camera: Fuji X10 Photo Location: Texas ISO: 100 Shutter Speed: 1/45s Aperture: F2

Otis says this is not worth posting, a Macro from a "filthy little toy camera." He cites as evidence a shot of the same orchid from last year shot with a real camera, the K20D, and how big and plentiful the blooms are compared to this tiny pre-bloom from a toy camera.......I know he's right, but I just can't bring myself to put the X10 in the street for trucks to run over as Otis advises.

K20D +105 Kiron from last year about this time......it's a small miracle the plant is still alive!

Regards!

If you see my little X10 out in the road, please don't run over it!

Otis needs to take another look!

I think that Otis needs to take another look at this. I think that your little X10 does it's self proud in it's renderings. And I might add that, even though you have to please Otis's tastes first, you have a pretty good eye for the fairer "flower" yourself. JimH

Thanks Jim.....I guess Otis just doesn't like small cameras, he says they are beneath a Squirrel's dignity. The X10 is no match for a K20D or K5, but it is so much fun to use...even if it is a "toy camera'!

Otis may be right as the K20 seems to have captured a lot more blooms that the X10.

Otis sends his regards Susan, and says he loves to see a person that "thinks like a Squirrel!"

It's hard to argue with the evidence that Otis has provided. He has a pretty strong case IMHO.
