I love the first one... you contrasted the whites really well... He is almost unicornish... all he needs is the horn... think you could PP it in?? LOL

The last shot makes the horse look mean and mad.. like.. "quit takin pictures of me!!!" ...

all in all Great shots.... and beautiful animals!!!

Dave, What's the matter with you! Don't you know you can't do this? Why are you breaking the rules? ...Oh you shoot with a Pentax...OK never mind.
BTW that first shot is great, even if it's wrong!

Great stuff Dave. That first shot is excellent. The reflections in the eyes are almost spooky. The last is cool as well. he does look fed up with your picture taking. Well Done!

Thanks Peter the Bigma is indeed versatile. As for look when they first saw me all were very interested (these are riding horses at a trail ranch) I think the look on the last one was indeed enough already no sugar cubes no more pics !

What was approx the focal length you used for these pics? Looks like near to wide open, but what aperture was there?
Compliments for the first shot, the two eyes are tack sharp and the composition is nice. Was she standing, or walking towards you?

Thanks Syb - I have edited the original to include some of the EXIF - most of them were standing relativley still wondering who this character was with the big lens and no sugar cubes
