I think with winter upon most of us, and the holidaze over I thought I might gather together some of the weirder plant shots. Many of you have seen most of these, but never all together in one spot.
In the sheer stubborn tenacity department we have this black birch growing out of a small crack in a solid granite ledge.

We have some pretty good mimics amongst our floral friends...this guy does a pretty good imitation of Cousin It, from the old Addams Family show.

Wow! The play between the tree and shadows on the 4th pic is simply amazing!

All the pics are impressive, but #4 is definetly my favorite.

The blurbs before each picture truely makes this post entertaining.. I love the fingers shot as do others... but my personaly favorite is the "I want to be a firework".. What a great little flower!!

LOL I love your captions. These are great Salty. I laughed about Cousin It and then almost fell out of my chair with the gosiping daylilies. You must have watched Disney movies too when you were growing up.
