Yer mascara is a bit clumpy, mate!

I like macro too but Ive made a personal decision to leave close ups of body parts to physicians, surgeons and those that need to. Flowers and bugs and twigs are cool (and what ever that sexy thing is in pic #1!) but eyeball close ups give me the willies - don't know why.

Glad your having fun with the macro rings.

Oh, man, looking at those, I just can't wait to get our extension tubes. We ordered in early December, and they just arrived at the post office today, according to the USPS email. Alas, our snow-moving capacity also died today, so we're effectively trapped here until parts arrive to fix the tractor. Argh!!!

Oh, how I'd love to feel 35 degrees on my cold bones. If I get to the extension tubes soon, maybe I'll take a picture of my goose bumps and blue toes.

Great series. The eye shot is over the top!! The flower is very cool as well. You can see a 'line' of the in focus area along the petals. Razor thin DOF there.

Nice advice from that Pentaxian!
$10 well spent. Did that lens come from the kit you bought the other day or a new addition? Are you finding it easier to focus with this lens? If you want to add another level to this and have a tripod you can try one of these: Macro Focus Rail Slider for Canon EOS 30D 40D 400D 350D - eBay (item 180202077545 end time Jan-08-08 13:00:00 PST)
I got one and like how easy it is to get the focus right on. Just mount the camera to it and adjust to perfect focus points.

As Salty would do:
