When Women Talk
Camera: Fuji X10 Photo Location: Texas ISO: 1000 Shutter Speed: 1/350s Aperture: F2

I went to a Birthday Party (90 years old!) for one of Mrs Rupert's old bosses, and longtime friend this afternoon. Lots of people there, and after it settled down I sat alone and took some various shots of Mrs Rupert talking to one of her former co-workers she hadn't seen in a long time.

Ever watch women talk? I found it interesting, so snapped away. When old men talk only their lips move.....not so with women!
Maybe you will find it interesting too?

First, the Birthday Girl.....with Mrs Rupert (center) and another long time friend.

Now to the subject matter....Women Talking!

They start off slow and easy...
[IMG] [/IMG]

It starts to get animated pretty fast...
[IMG] [/IMG]

They both need a hand in the conversation...
[IMG] [/IMG]

Must be some horrible part?
[IMG] [/IMG]

And I told Mr Rupert, no more camera junk!
[IMG] [/IMG]

Must be hilarious?
[IMG] [/IMG]

Maybe not?
[IMG] [/IMG]

Then the part where they swear..."I'll never tell a soul!"
[IMG] [/IMG]

Uh oh! I got caught!
[IMG] [/IMG]

If you are a guy, you've seen this all before, I thought it was sort of fun to put it in photos......

Regards! Thanks Mrs Rupert, you're a good sport! ....and still looking pretty fine at age 66, even when shot with a Toy Camera!

Very nice sequence of photos Rupert.

When I first read the thread title I thought it was going to be about squirrels, I admit.

Your skills at photographing people & squirrels are very good and you get very nice photos from toy cameras.

I love Mrs. Rupert's constantly changing facial expressions - she's a virtuoso in moving the concert from one chord to the next. Generally when I see the women I know chatting with this level of animation, it means that one of my many shortcomings is being thoroughly dissected.

Mrs Rupert can get pretty animated, and as long as she is smiling, I feel comfortable...unfortunately in our almost 46 years together, I've seen some other animations "not so friendly".

She had a good time, they laughed, they cried, like old friends do! I ate cake and snapped photos!
Regards!

That is a fantastic achievement in itself, Rupert & Mrs. Rupert.
Congrats to both of you.

Mrs Rupert is obviously, as we say in Britain, a 'good egg'. On the right side in the battle with life.

Thanks! On our last anniversary Mrs Rupert told me she had spent 45 years working to get me "like she wanted"...but finally realized I was already there all along! I thought that was the best compliment she could have given me.......although probably not totally honest!

She had a great time yesterday, I like to see that. She has tons of friends, and to see her laugh and cry with them was a delight.

Deja Vu. I can hear the "no more camera junk" while browsing in Ebay.

Thanks all.....just having a little fun with my Toy Camera! It could have been a drag for me, I knew few there, but I had fun instead. Like marriage, it is what you make it!

Thanks Susan, there is a certain amount of work...and a certain amount of luck....and in Mrs Rupert's case a whole lot of patience with me......I suspect she is some kind of Saint?

Regards & Thanks all for looking!
