Two coastal sunrises
Camera: K10D Photo Location: Bald Head Island, NC USA

Got to spend some time at the coast last week. It was a work trip so brought a limited and rather unusual lens kit -- just the A 400/5.6 and A 20/2.8. Here's a sunrise from each; I leave it as an exercise to the reader to guess which was shot with which. Bird photos from the same trip coming in a separate post.

Thanks again! I've been thinking about printing off #1 to give to my hosts for that week (the view is from behind their house) and this decides it.

I like both. But the band of reflected sunlight in # 1 makes it the winner in my eyes.

You were really treated well on this business trip! A gorgeous sunset and sunrise and a conservancy full of birds! Both shots are awesome. Thank you for sharing!
