Mustangs... C&C Welcome
Posted By: paden501, 01-07-2008, 05:28 PM

Here are a couple of various Ford Mustang photos. The first one is my car. They were all taken with the *ist DL and kit lens.

I love the shine on the second photo. It's a good angle, as well, though I would have probably framed it a bit different.

Is that a '69 Shelby in the third pic? My best friend had a '70 GT500. Paid $4800 for it brand new...sold it for $2800 in 1979.

I'm a big fan of Mustangs. My first car was a candy apple red 68 coupe. And, my current ride is an redfire 05 4.0L with just a few mods... let's just say most of the 05+ GT guys don't like to race me at the track.

Looks like you have a nice pony package there, though I can't quite make out the front. Or, is it a GT with the side emblem replaced with the running horse?

That second shot is great... cool perspective.

All great shots. I have an 03, Sonic Blue, coupe. It's not quick but it will go faster than I need to drive it.

I think it would be neat if someone started a "Show me your Mustang, Camaro, Firebird, Charger and Challenge shots" thread.

Hamidlmt,

It is a pony package. So far I've got Pypes dual exhaust, a K&N filter and a Hurst Short Throw Shifter on it. Eventually I'd like it to beat most GT's, but we'll see how far that goes.

Thanks for the comments,

I've heard Pypes sounds dandy!

Here's my brief mod list:

12 psi after-cooled Vortech, SCT X-cal 2 tune by FAST Specialties, titanium-finish ceramic-coated JBA headers, JBA dual Evol exhaust with custom H-pipe, GT rear bumper, Motive 3.73 gears, Auburn limited slip differential, CHE upper and lower fixed-length control arms, Powerhouse aluminum driveshaft with CHE front driveshaft loop, heated throttle body bypass, American Racing Casino chrome wheels, BFG g-force T/A 255/45/17 KDW tires.

328 rwhp/315 rwtq

Thanks for posting these. I grew up with these cars; in fact, when I was 17 in the spring of '64, my dad bought me a brand new Mustang. They'd only been out for a few weeks, and mine was the first V-8 delivered in the area. It was Palamino gold with a saddle interior and was equipped with the great 289 4-bbl, a 4-speed manual tranny and the Rally Pack, a clock and tach mounted to the steering column (you can see one in photo #2). Later, I bought a '67 Cougar and then a '69 351 Mach I which would run like a scalded dog. I've been a car guy ever since.

Do you have other shots of the car in photo #2?

BTW, great looking wheels on your new version of this wonderful car.

I looked at your website - lot's of great car, boat and people pictures. I enjoy shooting my cars - I'm always looking for creative ways to do it.
