Photoshop face lift!

A customer asked me to do a little nip and tuck. What do you think?

I think you did a good job. I've tried this once or twice but somehow never liked the effect I got. You made it work here though. Care to share your technique?

The function of filer - contract is probably the one to go for but you did this very well - naturally.

Would love to know your tips in this

I used a technique I found in a book by Scott Kelby. It was written for photoshop 7, and the technique was actually used on love handles, but I applied it to my needs and used some newer features in cs3.

First press control-A, then control-T. This allows you to narrow the pic, I went to 95 percent of the original width. Cropped. Then I went to filter-liquify. I played around with that until I had the lower cheeks and under chin tucked in. I also fluffed the hair back out on the sides with this tool to get some of the width back but leaving the face and body narrowed. Then i went and cloned out some blemishes. She was pretty happy with it.

She still looks like her, which is the key to editing portraits. Great work.
